Mushroom Foray with Ron Spinosa at Battle Creek Park

Here are the directions to Battle Creek Park :

Take I–94 to McKnight exit. Go South on McKnight. Proceed past Upper Afton Rd. to Lower Afton Rd. Take a left on Lower Afton, go about one block, and you will see a parking lot on your left. We can meet in the parking lot at 6:00 pm.

Bio: Ron Spinosa
Ron Spinosa is past president of the Minnesota Mycological Society and current editor of the society’s newsletter, "The Toadstool Review." He is the Chair of the Mushroom Cultivation Committee of the North American Mycological Association. Ron presents workshops on mycology, mushroom identification, and mushroom cultivation in the Twin Cities area.

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month (though there is no meeting in January). We meet from 7:00–9:00 pm. Come early, from 6:30–7:00 for socializing, tea and snacks.
