Helen Healy, N.D.

Helen earned her N.D. degree (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine) in 1983 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She practices at Wellspring Naturopathic Clinic in St. Paul, MN. In addition to her wholistic practice at Wellspring, Helen lectures on nutrition, botanical medicine, and specific health issues. She has assisted parents in natural home birthing, and gave birth to her own two daughters safely at home.

Helen has appeared before both the Minnesota Health Department and the State Legislature as a spokesperson for Natural Medicine and to promote licensure of Naturopathic Medicine in Minnesota.

She is also a community based faculty member of the University of Minnesota Medical School. Medical students and residents come to observe Helen at Wellspring Clinic as part of their rotation within the Spirituality and Healing program.

Helen teaches Herbology courses at the College of St. Catherine for the Masters Level Holistic Studies program.

She continues to work hard to achieve truly integrated healthcare within all specialty areas of natural medicine and the allopathic medical community.
