OUR MAY 1ST PLANT WALK HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER
Understanding basic botanical characteristics is fundamental for learning how to positively identify plants. On this two part botany-based plant walk we will explore the plant patterns that help us to more easily identify them and learn their uses. Simple botanical terminology will be introduced along the way. We will also discuss plant classification, in particular, plant families which often have similar medicinal properties. Let's see what is emerging in the garden as the snow melts away this spring.
