Speaker Bio: Tegan is the founder of The Medicine Objective and, most recently, Star Woman Apothecary. Her relationship with plants has been lifelong. She grows and forages in the summer and remedies in the winter. With a professional and educational background in biomedicine, behavioral therapy, and clinical research, she now serves a broader ecosystem, working closer to nature and more deeply embedded in community. Her work centers on holistic education for healthcare professionals, community-based care, participatory health research, and supporting people in reclaiming the knowledge to care for themselves through plant medicine.

Description: Tegan will share lessons from her healing journey and decolonization of self, work, and relationships through her relationships with plants as relatives and teachers. Participants will be invited into collective reflection and dialogue on ecosystem perspectives and how we engage with plant life in our lives and work.
