The Beautiful World of Bees

C&C Apiaries, LLC is small business operation located in southwest Burnsville, MN that was founded in 2009 by Joseph and Ellen Coffey. We have apiaries located in Dakota and Scott Counties, MN and this year we are expanding into Pine County, MN. In addition to honey, we provide extraction and hobby farm pollination services, custom HI-REZ label printing, technical and scientific support, and we are dedicated to the advancement of beekeeping by providing educational and public service programs to all age groups. We are classed as small scale to serious sideliner in the beekeeping industry.

Ellen is a Mid-West Certified Master Beekeeper through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Joseph is completing his Master Beekeeping Certification and is also a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing a Masters in Entomology. We have attended many extension and academic classes provided by the University of Minnesota, NC State University, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Both Ellen and Joseph are active members of the MN Hobby Beekeepers Association, the MN Honey Producers Association, and the American Beekeeping Federation. Ellen is in her second term as the President of the MN Hobby Beekeepers Association.
